About Us
Fredericksburg
Learning Enhancement
Center is a diagnostic and tutorial center specializing in learning
disabilities, dyslexia, and auditory processing disorders. Our
mission is to strengthen the
cognitive skills of our students and to build
a foundation for success in all areas
of their lives.
The owner and director of
Fredericksburg Learning Enhancement Center, Christina Carson, is a certified
Special Education teacher, specializing in Learning Disabilities since
1993. Christina is passionate about sharing her knowledge
with others and offers workshops to parents and educators.
The clinicians at FLEC help people of all ages
overcome learning
challenges (including dyslexia, ADD, and auditory disorders) by
developing underlying processing skills, processing speed, and
executive function skills. We use a variety of tools and
techniques to target the causes of learning disability.
Students that have completed our programs
have
discovered that they spend less time on homework.
They report that they are able to stay focused and
pay better attention in the
classroom. The number one comment that we hear is that students
feel more confident in their abilities to do
their work independently. More student testimonies.
